| Totally humble!
Well Friday was a long day because I knew that as soon as school was out, I was going out of town. I love the weekends that my grandma and I get to go to Canton and shop! Its the best! But to make the day even better, I went to my box in the lounge and started collecting all the things that needed to go back to my classroom. Luckly I checked the bottom of the stuff that I thought was unimportant for the moment and found a letter from the educational department at Sam Houston. I kinda had a feeling what it was about because my boss had mentioned something about hearing from the school 2 months ago (which of course I had no idea what she was talking about). When I opened the letter, I read it and found that I had been nominated for Educator of the Year as a SHSU alumni! I danced around for the rest of the afternoon, showing anyone my letter that would take time to read it. I was so excited and totally humbeled at the same time. I now have to fill out all the paperwork and get everything ready for the award cermony where the winner will be honored. I am already honored to be considered and yet I feel completely insignificant. It's totally not my doing. It's all God.
Please pray for me as I persue this new adventure!

| Will you ever update?
Well that is a very good question. It has been so busy around here that I have barely had time to think. I cant believe how many things have happened since I last put in a real update. School is so crazy. I have not been able to figure out my kids yet. They are cool, but nothing seems to motivate them. They have no interest in competitions that we have at school. They really just want to socialize with each other, so needless to say it has been a long year thus far. Thank goodness that tomorrow we have a day without them and a chance to catch up on some things.
As for other things in my life... I have to say that Friday night was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with some friends from work and got to know them a little better. It is so cool when you ogot to know the personal side of someone when you normally see the professional side of them. I cant wait to have more nights like that. Every other Friday night... I'll be there!
As I'm typing this I am thinking of all the papers I should be grading and really I just want to scrapbook. I am so far behind it isnt even funny. I started doing pictures from church camp and it has been so funny to look back and see all the pictures form back in the day. I feel totally old.
Well since I am so old, I will wait till later to update more about my crazy life! Night!

| Why do people go "hang out" at work? I really dont understand that. I mean, when I am at work it sure isnt because I want to "hang out." I love my co-workers, at least most of them, but when we want to "hang" we go away from work.
I made this short for Tiff and Ray who dont like to read and who spend way too much time at work when they are not working.
